At least one person was killed and 24 others, including children, were injured in a shooting outside a car show in southeastern Arkansas.
The state police stated that one person is in custody, while they are looking for others who opened fire on a crowd on Saturday evening.
"At around 7:25 pm, police headed to Dumas, a city of about 4,000 people located 90 miles (144 km) south of Little Rock, after receiving a report of shooting outside a company where a car show takes place," Bill Sadler, a spokesman for the Arkansas Police said.
Six children were taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, most of whom were discharged after receiving treatment.
The car show is part of a community event held each spring to raise money for scholarships and school supplies, according to the Delta Youth Empowerment Organization website.
Wallace McGee, the organizer of the car show, expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and the public.
