Assi El Hallani's "Baashaek" Music Video Features His Family

Rotana Production Company dropped on Wednesday Lebanese superstar, Assi El Hallani’s new music video “Baashaek” (I adore you), on its YouTube channel.

The music video featured footage of El Hallani with his wife Collette and family. He married his wife, in 1995, and have three children together, two daughters and one son. Maritta Hellani, his daughter, is also a singer.

Part of the lyrics goes, "Do not fear the as long as you are with, be reassured, and do not worry about ... tell me all about what troubles you, tell me, never burden ... these are tales ... and I will not find you someone like you..."

Baashaek is by the lyrics of Ehab Abdel Azim, and composed by Mohamed Obay.

El Hallani’s family recorded the music video while in self-quarantine due to coronavirus.

El Hellani’s latest artistic work is his music video “Al Watan”.

It is worth mentioning that the Lebanese superstar was born on November 28, 1970. El Hellani’s music career started after he was named the winner in “Studio Al Fan” TV program for young artists, at the age of seventeen.

He has released over a dozen albums and is best known for singing “Wani Marek Marreyt”, “Amshi Lihali”, “Malee Saber”, “Ahebbak Gedan”, “Ahla Al Oyoun”, “Shoug Al Sahari”, “Azabounii”, “Bel Arabi”, “Saalouni”, “Ya Memah”, and “Kayed Ozzalak”.

El Hellani studied for approximately five years, from 1985 to 1990, at the Higher Institute of Music in Lebanon, where he focused on the Oud instrument and Arab vocal techniques.

Earlier this year, the Lebanese superstar was a judge on the third season of “The Voice Kids: Ahla Sawt”, the Arabic edition of the German popular talent show “The Voice Kids”, which broadcasted on the “MBC” satellite channel, on January 4th.

The judging panel also included Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki, and Lebanese recording artist, Nancy Ajram.
