The head of Egypt’s Ashraf Syndicate, Mawlana Al-Sharif Mahmoud Al-Sharif, has praised President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s balanced and strategic leadership in successfully managing the Gaza crisis, following the landmark ceasefire agreement reached in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Al-Sharif said that the successful conclusion of the ceasefire negotiations on Egyptian soil represents a historic milestone, reaffirming Egypt’s pivotal regional and international role under President Sisi’s leadership.
He noted that the president’s “strategic foresight and political wisdom were instrumental in resolving one of the region’s most complex crises,” ensuring an outcome that safeguards the rights of the Palestinian people while ending their prolonged suffering.
Al-Sharif added that Egypt was not just a mediator in the talks but a cornerstone in the pursuit of security and peace across the Middle East. “Cairo remains the real guarantor of any just and sustainable agreement that halts bloodshed and protects Palestinian rights,” he said, stressing that Egypt’s voice continues to carry weight on the global stage.
He also called on the international community to take serious responsibility by compelling the Israeli government to comply with all terms of the agreement, ensuring the durability of the truce and promoting long-term stability in the region.
Concluding his statement, Al-Sharif prayed for God to preserve Egypt’s safety and stability, protect its people from all harm, and bless its ongoing journey of progress and development. He also expressed hope for global peace and security to prevail across all nations.
