This morning, Israeli Foreign Minister (FM) Gabi Ashkenazi underlined the need to realize the increasing level of threat that Iran has posed to the region, noting that his country is working to stop Tehran's interference, according to Sky News Arabia.
Addressing Manama Dialogue Forum, Israeli FM said that there are two parties in the region, the first wants prosperity, while the other follows Iran, and wants destruction.
He added: "the nuclear agreement in 2015 led Iran to wreak havoc, destruction and misery in the region," stressing the need to "be more aware of the Iranian threats in the region."
"We must impose further sanctions on Iran, and not to let its militia, namely Hezbollah and the Houthis, tamper with the security of the region," the Israeli top diplomat continued.
Concerning peace deals, Ashkenazi said that the normalization agreement signed between Israel and Bahrain, and UAE are a 'symbol for a better future'.
