Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his accompanying high-level delegation toured the archaeological pyramids area, on the sidelines of his current official visit to Egypt.
They were received by the Director General of the Pyramid Antiquities Area Ashraf Mohieldin, who accompanied them on a tour of the archaeological area that began at the Great Pyramid.
The officials listened to a detailed explanation of how the pyramids were built, the number of stones in them, and their source.
During the tour, Pashinyan expressed his great admiration for the Pyramids.
The tour also included a visit to the panorama area and the Sphinx, where they learned about sculpting the statue and the dream painting.
Mohieldin also reviewed the project to develop services in the Pyramid Antiquities area, which is currently being implemented, and the components of the project that are aimed at improving the tourism experience for visitors to the archaeological area.
The Armenian Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation were also keen to take photos in commemoration of the visit.
The officials also paid a visit to The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) on Wednesday.
