Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made two phone calls on Friday, with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the current situation in Karabakh region.
In a post on his official account on "Facebook", Pashinyan said that the two sides discussed issues related to the prisoner exchange process, deploying peacekeepers, permitting transport movement in the region, and settling the crisis over the Lachin corridor, a mountain pass connects Armenia and the enclave of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The Armenian Prime Minister pointed out that these discussions are always held on a regular basis, according to TASS.
Renewed clashes erupted between Azerbaijan and Armenia on September 27, amid violent battles in Karabakh region, leaving many civilians killed from both sides.
