On Tuesday, The Alamein Memorial for Commonwealth War Graves hosted the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Alamein Battle.
The Egyptian Armed Forces participated in the event alongside senior delegations from the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and Greece.
Moreover, a number of the victims' families were present at the celebration.
The event kicked off by laying flowers in the main hall of the celebration, followed by performing funerary military musical compositions, and hymns for peace and love for all world.
A minute of silence as mourning for the victims was performed by the guests.
Furthermore, the delegations visited the Al Alamein Military Museum which represented a memorial and panorama of the war as it contains a collection of military artifacts, maps of the battle, and several belongings for the soldiers.
