In continuation of the efforts of the armed forces in developing scientific research to upgrade the health care system in Egypt, the Armed Forces College of Medicine announced the signing of a protocol of cooperation with the British University and the Egyptian-Russian University.

The signing ceremony of the protocol began with a speech of Major General Dr. Ayman Sayed Shafei, Director of the army's  Faculty of Medicine, during which he welcomed the attendees and the signing of the protocol, which stems from the keenness of the armed forces to upgrade the medical system, and maximize the use of expertise and potential available in various scientific and research fields.

The ceremony was held in the presence of the Presidents of the British University and the Egyptian-Russian University.

It also was attended by a number of faculty members of the Faculty of Medicine

The cooperation protocol comes also in implementation of the directives of the General Command of the Armed Forces.

He pointed out that Egypt spares no effort to provide all the support for the service of the medical sector in the military and civilian fields, which is reflected on upgrading the medical system and the level of treatment provided to citizens.
