Armed Forces Greet President Sisi on New Year

On Tuesday, Egyptian Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki sent a cable to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to greet him on the new year 2021.

In the cable, Zaki wished the new year would bring further prosperity and development to the homeland.

He also conveyed the greetings of the Armed Forces personnel to the president on the occasion.

Army Chief of Staff Mohamed Farid sent a similar cable to the president.

According to the cable, Zaki asserted the armed forces' continued supportive stance behind El-Sisi's "wise leadership to ensure the country's safety and stability," as well as its support for continued development to put Egypt back on the path towards being a leading nation.
