Egypt's Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki sent a cable of congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Thursday, on the occasion of new Hijri year, 1444.
In the cable, Zaki wished the new Hijri year would bring further prosperity and development to the homeland.
Lieutenant-General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also sent a similar cable to the President.
Furthermore, they sent cables of congratulations to the Al-Azhar Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed El-Tayeb, and Grand Mufti Dr. Shawki Allam, on the same occasion.
The Defense Minister also issued a directive to congratulate the commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, military manufacturers, and soldiers, as well as Armed Forces troops participating in the peacekeeping, and civil personnel of the armed forces, on same occasion.
