The General Command of the Armed Forces, headed by Minister of Defense and Military Production Mohamed Zaki, congratulated on Friday President Abdel Fattah Sisi on Eid Al Fitr.
Zaki expressed his wishes for good health, prosperity, and improvement to the President on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
In his letter, the Minister of Defence introduced to the President the wishes of a happy fest from the staff and members of the Armed Forces to him, asserting keeping their oath of defending Egypt and its people, and continuing their national role for their homeland.
It's worthy to mention that the National Research Institute of Astronomy & Geophysics (NRIAG) announced that the first day of Eid Al Fitr will be on May 2, and Eid prayer will be at 5:37 Cairo time.
According to astronomical studies, the rise of the Shawal Crescent moon will be at 10: 28 pm on the Day of Observation (Yawm Al Roayah) in Cairo time.
Furthermore, the crescent moon will be set before the sunset of the observation day.
Therefore, this Ramadan will be a 30-day-month, so Sunday, May 1 will be the final day of Ramadan, and Monday will mark the beginning of Shawal and Eid Al Fitr.
