An art exhibition was launched Tuesday in the El Arish Culture Palace, in celebrating the 41st anniversary of Sinai's Liberation Day.

Under the auspices of Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Fadil Shousha, Governor of North Sinai, and Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, Minister of Culture, the exhibition will display various artworks by Sinai plastic artists, like Mustafa Bakir, Ragab Amer, Gamal Fouda, Hassan Abdel Moneim Ibrahim, Khalil Al-Karani,

It also aims to help the public learn more about the resistance war of Egyptians against Israeli forces.

Sinai's Liberation Day is a national holiday observed in Egypt on April 21 of every year. This date marks the 1982 withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Sinai Peninsula.

The Israeli withdrawal came following the inking of the Camp David peace treaty between Egypt and Israel in September 1978.
