Argentina won on Saturday their first major title in 28 years, after Angel Di Maria scored a winning goal over Brazil and tied the record of the 15th Copa America.
Playing for the second time in the Copa, Di Maria justified his choice by scoring the opening goal in the middle of the first half.
As Brazil were adding forward gaps, the opportunity opened up for Di Maria, who was ready before the offside position for any pass. Argentina missed two other clear goals in the last moments of the second half.

Argentina's win expanded their unbeaten streak to 20 under Scaloni and gave Brazil their first defeat since losing to Belgium in the 2018 World Cup quarter-finals.
Messi finished the tournament's top scorer with four goals and was jointly elected with Neymar as the best player.
