Argentina is preparing to receive the most severe heat wave with a significant rise in temperatures.

The newly forecasted wave comes at a time when the country is still suffering from an unprecedented wave of drought.

And the Argentine authorities have allocated healthcare facilities and centers dedicated to treating diseases associated with high temperatures.

The Argentine newspaper "Infobay" indicated that Argentina is considered one of the countries at high risk due to heat waves due to climate change, which threatens the existence of thousands of deaths.

The average temperature in Argentina is 40 degrees Celsius

Argentina witnessed an unprecedented heat wave last March, with the highest temperatures recorded in 63 years, according to the National Meteorological Service.

That wave was accompanied by a severe drought with a severe lack of rain, which directly affected the production of soybeans.

The Argentine "Telam" agency said that the average maximum temperatures for the first ten days of the month rose between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius above normal in the center-east of the country, and the temperature at the beginning of the season exceeded 30 degrees Celsius.ش
