The Arab Women Investors Union has supported the launch of the “Makers of Smiles” initiative in 10th of Ramadan City, aimed at assisting vulnerable children through the distribution of Eid clothing, gifts and sweets.
Organized by the Businesswomen Association for Development in coordination with the local Social Solidarity Office, the initiative targets orphans, low-income families and children from displaced households in Sinai. Organizers said it is the first step toward expanding the program to other governorates, including Badr City.
At the launch event, Social Solidarity official Tahani Abdel Halim praised the initiative for promoting social solidarity and bringing joy to children.
Union Chair woman Hoda Yassa said the effort reflects cooperation between government, the private sector and civil society.
The event also featured children’s performances, highlighting themes of hope and inclusion.
