The Council of Arab Tribes in Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula announced today their absolute support for businessman Mohamed Aboul Enein owner of Cleopatra Group, honorary president of the Euro-Mediterranean Parliament in the complementary parliamentary elections for the Giza district.

Sheikh Esmat El-Akkaby, the council president, said that the support of the Arab Tribes Council did not come out of nowhere, but for Aboul Enein’s honourable stances over his 15-year tenure at the parliament.

His national and international achievements are exceptional, El-Akkaby added.

Sheikh El-Akkaby added that Aboul Enein supported the district and its people through critical times, and he was one the nation’s biggest defenders after the June 30th revolution despite the fact that he was not a member of Parliament.

El-Akkaby then revealed that even though Aboul Enein has been absent from the parliament after his political retirement since 2011, he never lost touch with the district’s residents.

He also mentioned the great role the Aboul Enein foundation plays in the everyday lives of the district’s citizens.

"The foundation’s humanitarian efforts are inspiring, El-Akkaby stated.

This came during the Sada El-Balad founder’s meeting with members of the council Saturday.
