The 10th edition of Arab Satellite Festival will kick off Friday evening at a hotel in Cairo Governorate, amid a large attendee of celebrities and public figures.
The festival will be honoring the year's outstanding Arab celebrities, media and public figures including, Angham and her husband, music disturber Ahmed Ibrahim, Injy El Mokkaddem, Donia Samir Ghanem, Maged El Masry, Eyad Nassar, Ahmed Dawood, Sayed Ragab, Wael al-Ibrashi, Amr Ellissy, Inji Ali, Samar Yousry, and others.
It was the first to kick off on March 22, 2008, hosting more than twenty Arab satellite channels in its first appearance.
The festival also included honoring some distinguished Arab artists and artists who were honored with the Shield of Excellence and Creativity.
Its idea was created by an Arab group of media professionals headed by Ahmad Aliwa, CEO of Singer Brent, and the intellectual property rights holder of the festival, which was founded to promote satellite channels and to ensure that they continue to provide distinctive and targeted media content to Arab viewers.
The festival management has worked on the continuity of the festival over the past years in order to create a spirit of competition through which we can encourage the satellite channels to continue to provide all useful for the Arab scenes where the word audible and visual is the most influential in this era.
In 2016, with the commencement of the seventh edition of the festival, the festival management, headed by Ahmad Aliwa, assigned the public relations and marketing function of the festival to Strike Media, one of the major marketing companies for major events.
It is keen to reach a new phase of administrative organization. The festival management should be separate from the administrative and marketing side, which will qualify the festival to reach out to the Arab region in full and not limited to the events of Egypt only.
