Arab Parliament Speaker Adel Al-Assoumi praised on Wednesday, Abu Dhabi summit, which brought together the leaders of Egypt, Jordan, and the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Al-Assoumi stressed that this fraternal meeting, which was held under the title "Prosperity and Stability in the Region," represents a qualitative addition to strengthening Arab cooperation and solidarity in facing current challenges.
Moreover, he added that this important meeting came at an exceptional time that requires intensifying consultation and coordination mechanisms among Arab leaders in order to boost joint Arab efforts in dealing with the rapid developments the world is currently experiencing, which have direct repercussions on Arab societies.
In addition, AP speaker stressed that the outcomes of this fraternal meeting, which discussed many issues of concern to the Arab people, serve to enhance security and stability in the region, in a way that achieves the aspirations of its people for a future in which they will enjoy more development, progress, and prosperity, and build a more stable and prosperous future.
Al-Assoumi also expressed Arab Parliament's full support for all efforts of joint Arab cooperation at its various collective, multilateral and bilateral levels, as it is an essential axis in strengthening the process of joint Arab action.
