Arab Parliament (AP) Speaker, Mohamed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, expressed his strong condemnation of the repeated Israeli aggressions on the territories of the Syrian Arab Republic and the attacks targeting villages in the Damascus countryside, stating that they represent a flagrant violation of Syria's sovereignty, a clear breach of the rules of international law and the United Nations Charter, and a serious threat to security and stability in the region.
In a statement issued on Sunday, AP Speaker affirmed that the continuation of these aggressive attacks reflects the systematic escalation policy practiced by the brutal occupation without any respect for international legitimacy.
Moreover, he called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities to immediately halt these aggressions, prevent their recurrence, and hold the perpetrators accountable.
Furthermore, AP Speaker reiterated his full solidarity with the Syrian Arab Republic and its support in preserving its security, sovereignty, and the unity and territorial integrity of its land, stressing that harming any Arab state is harming Arab national security.
