The Arab Parliament welcomed what it called a historic decision by France and several European countries to officially recognize the State of Palestine at the United Nations, describing it as a new victory for the Palestinian cause.
Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi said the move represents a “qualitative leap” in international support for Palestinian statehood, affirming the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent and sovereign state in line with international law and UN resolutions.
