Arab parliament chairman Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Asoumi congratulated, on Saturday, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi on the huge success of the Parliament election 2020 in Egypt in its two stages.
Al-Asoumi affirmed that the Arab Republic of Egypt, under the wise leadership, has proven that it is able to overcome all challenges, especially the challenge of the Coronavirus, to achieve the aspirations of its people for a decent life.
Al-Asoumi also mentioned that Egypt provided a model in the management of the electoral process that was characterized by good organizing and prior preparations.
He also praised the professional efforts made by the National Elections Authority in organizing and supervising all procedures and stages of the electoral process, as well as the effective role of the Egyptian security forces in securing the process.
“The Arab Parliament was keen on following up this democratic move in its first and second stages through high-level delegations,” he mentioned. “The parliament confirmed in its final report, which will be summited to the National Elections Commission, that the electoral process was characterized by neutrality, professionalism and transparency in all its stages and procedures.”
He also offered his sincere wishes for success to the members of the new Egyptian Parliament in carrying out the noble mission, expressing confidence in them in serving the brotherly Egyptian people, and completing the march of the ancient Egyptian parliamentary life that has exceeded one hundred and fifty years.
