The Arab Parliament has strongly condemned the recent escalation of Israeli military aggression in the occupied West Bank, particularly the raids on Ramallah, Al-Bireh, and Hebron.
It described the latest incursions as part of a broader campaign of systematic violence and brutal assaults against Palestinian civilians.
The Parliament also denounced the increasing attacks by heavily armed Israeli settlers on Palestinian towns and villages, which are taking place under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoumi, warned that these violations constitute a continuation of Israel's ongoing policy of forced displacement, collective starvation, and what he termed “genocidal war” in the Gaza Strip.
He emphasized that such actions blatantly defy international law, humanitarian conventions, and UN resolutions.
The Arab Parliament called on the international community to shoulder its legal, humanitarian, and moral responsibilities.
It urged world powers to take immediate and concrete measures to halt Israel’s military operations and settler violence, which it described as war crimes and acts of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.
The Parliament further demanded urgent international protection for Palestinians and reiterated its full solidarity with their struggle for freedom and statehood.
It reaffirmed support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with international legitimacy.
This renewed call for global action comes amid a surge in violence across the occupied Palestinian territories and ongoing humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
