The Arab Parliament expressed its deep condemnation of the deteriorating security situation in the West Bank, in particular the acts of violence committed by Israeli settlers against the Palestinian people in the town of Hawara and the cities of the West Bank.
The Arab Parliament affirmed, "The settlers' terrorization of the defenseless Palestinians has become a systematic method, and their failure to deter them and hold them accountable gave them the opportunity to continue their crimes and attacks, including shooting, burning homes and vehicles, expelling farmers from their lands, and committing heinous crimes against the Palestinian people."
The Arab Parliament stated that the events bring back to the minds of the international community the scenes of their burning of the Dawabsha family, the child Abu Khudair, the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Ibrahimi Mosque massacre, and other heinous massacres against the Palestinian people.
The AP called on "the international community and the United Nations (UN) Security Council to take immediate and urgent action to stop the repeated and continuous settler attacks on the right of the Palestinian people and their property, under the protection of an extreme right-wing government."
It also demanded an end to the impunity of Israeli criminals and the blacklisting of settler militias as terrorist groups.
