The Arab League expressed deep concern on Sunday over recent developments following U.S. airstrikes on Iran, warning of the dangerous consequences of further military escalation in the region.
In an official statement, the League condemned any military actions that violate the sovereignty of nations, stressing that the current trajectory of escalation would only lead to a continuous cycle of violence with negative repercussions for all parties involved.
"The General Secretariat urges all sides to exercise maximum restraint and avoid being drawn into a spiral of escalation," the statement read. "Diplomacy must remain the only path for resolving all outstanding disputes."
The Arab League reiterated its call for a peaceful resolution through dialogue, emphasizing the need to de-escalate tensions and prevent further instability in an already volatile region.
