The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States called on the United Nations (UN) to assume its responsibilities, and to take the initiative, through its Secretary-General, to take urgent action with the relevant international parties to set Security Council resolutions adopted in this regard.
The Arab League urges the UN to provide an international protection system for the Palestinian people in the face of this disregard for Palestinian blood and rights.
On his part, the Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and the occupied Arab territories of the Arab League, Dr. Saeed Abu Ali, strongly condemned the barbaric Israeli aggression, which resulted in the killing of 5 Palestinian citizens, and the injury of dozens of others.
He added that what took place in the Palestinian territories, which were targeted by Israeli military operations and a suffocating siege for more than two weeks, constitutes a full-fledged war crime.
