Dr. Faed Mustafa, Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League and head of the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories sector, met with Sudan’s Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Emad El-Din Adawi, to discuss regional developments and the Palestinian issue.
During the meeting, the two officials reviewed the difficult humanitarian and political conditions facing the Palestinian people amid continuing Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including occupied Jerusalem.
They also exchanged views on several political issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the importance of strengthening Arab coordination and consultation on key regional challenges.
Both sides stressed the need to enhance cooperation between Sudan’s mission to the Arab League and the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories sector within the League’s General Secretariat, in support of joint Arab efforts to address developments affecting the Palestinian cause and the broader region.
