Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit received the first copy of The League of Arab States: Eighty Years on Tuesday, hours before concluding his tenure, marking the organization's 80th anniversary with its first bilingual Arabic-English interactive publication.
Prepared under the supervision of Assistant Secretary-General Hussein Al-Hindawi, the book chronicles the League's history, institutional development and major political milestones, including the Palestinian cause, regional conflicts and Arab cooperation.
Edited by media expert Amal Fawzi, the volume integrates artificial intelligence features, including bilingual podcasts accessible via QR codes and 360-degree virtual tours of the League's headquarters.
The publication also includes updated statistics on member states and contributions from more than 30 international figures, including senior government officials and leaders of international organizations, on the League's role and future partnerships. A digital edition will be released on the League's official website.
