The Arab League (AL) strongly condemned on Sunday the despicable terrorist attack that targeted a restaurant in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, Friday evening, killing 20 people and injuring dozens.
In a statement, the AL affirmed its solidarity with Somalia in its efforts to counter terrorism, violence, and extremism.
Moreover, it expressed its sincere condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
At least 20 people were killed and 30 others injured when a suicide car bomb exploded outside a popular restaurant in Mogadishu on Friday evening, according to Xinhua.
