Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of Arab League (AL) strongly condemned on Monday the attack launched by Al-Shabaab terrorist movement yesterday on the Villa Rosa Hotel, located in the vicinity of the Somali presidential residence in Mogadishu.
In a statement, the Secretary-General expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
Moreover, Aboul Gheit reaffirmed AL's full solidarity with the government and people of Somalia in confronting terrorism and supporting all ongoing efforts to eradicate its roots and restore the role of the state at all levels.
