Nabil Fahmy, Arab League Secretary-General, expressed his categorical rejection and strong condemnation of the continuous Iranian aggressions against several Arab nations.

He emphasized that these practices pose a direct threat to regional security and stability, violate the principles of international law and the UN Charter, and breach the rules of good neighborliness.

Rejection of Attacks on Arab Nations and International Shipping

The Secretary-General stressed that Iran's repeated attacks on commercial vessels threaten the safety and freedom of international navigation.

He also highlighted the ongoing attacks targeting the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Furthermore, Fahmy reaffirmed the Arab League's absolute rejection of any actions that infringe upon the sovereignty or territorial integrity of Arab states, or pose a threat to their national security and stability.

Arab Security is Indivisible

Fahmy clarified that these aggressions cannot be justified under any pretext, underscoring that the security of Arab nations is indivisible.

He added that any violation of an Arab state's sovereignty is unacceptable and demands a unified, firm Arab stance.

Call for UN Security Council Action

The Secretary-General renewed the Arab League's full solidarity with the targeted Arab countries, backing all legitimate measures they take to defend their sovereignty, protect their security, and safeguard their people.

He also called on the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities by taking effective steps to halt these violations, ensure respect for international law, and preserve the security and freedom of global shipping, thereby contributing to peace and stability in the region.
