Ambassador Dr. Faed Mustafa, Assistant Secretary-General and Head of the Palestine and Occupied Arab Territories Sector at the League of Arab States, participated in a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of Land Day at the headquarters of the General Union of Arab Lawyers in Cairo.
Representing the Secretary-General, Mustafa joined Palestinian and Arab officials, legal figures, and diplomats at the event held under the patronage of Secretary-General of the union Mekawi Ben Issa.
In remarks delivered during the ceremony, Mustafa emphasized that Land Day remains a defining moment in Palestinian history. “The land is not for sale, and the homeland cannot be bargained away,” he said, reaffirming that Palestinians remain steadfast on their land despite occupation and settlement expansion.
Mustafa reiterated that the Palestinian cause will remain the central issue for the Arab world and stressed that Palestinian rights are inalienable and not subject to compromise.
