Mohand Saleh Laajouzi, Director General of the Arab Fund for Technical Assistance to African Countries, met with Kassongo Musenga at the fund’s headquarters to discuss expanding technical cooperation.
During the meeting, the envoy from the Democratic Republic of the Congo expressed interest in benefiting from the fund’s successful programs across Africa, particularly in health, agriculture and diplomatic training. He highlighted medical initiatives implemented in Tanzania as models to replicate.
Laajouzi welcomed the visit — the first of its kind — and affirmed the fund’s readiness to study new training programs tailored to Congo’s needs, in coordination with relevant partners to strengthen institutional capacity across key sectors.
