The Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said on Sunday that it intercepted and destroyed an Iranian-backed group's drone that was headed for the Saudi Arabian city of Khamis Mushait in the south, according to Asharq Al-Awsat.
Militias' attempts to attack civilians, according to the Coalition, are considered war crimes.
It also stated that, in accordance with international and humanitarian law, it would take all appropriate steps to protect civilians.
