The Arab Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said that the Iran-backed militia fired a ballistic missile late Saturday toward Jazan. However, it was successfully intercepted and destroyed.
The missile attack comes just hours after the coalition forces destroyed three armed drones fired by the Iranian-backed militia, targeting the southern region of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement on Saturday, the Coalition to Restore Legitimacy in Yemen said that the Iran-backed militia is continuing to target civilians and civilian infrastructure, adding that its forces are taking operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects from hostile acts.
