Arab Coalition: 105 Houthis Killed over Past 24 Hours

105 Houthi militia were killed, and 13 military vehicles were destroyed near the strategic city of Ma’rib, according to a statement issued by Arab Coalition. 

It is worth mentioning that, the coalition had carried out 26 operations, targeting Houthis in Al-Jawba and Kassara villages during the last 24 hours.

Last February, the Houthis began a major push to seize Marib and have renewed their offensive since September, France 24 reported.

In 2014, The Yemeni civil war began when the Houthis seized the capital Sanaa, 120 kilometres west of Marib, prompting Saudi-led forces to intervene to prop up the government the following year.

Tens of thousands of people have died and millions have been displaced in what the United Nations has called the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
