April 25: Temporary Rise in Temperatures Across Egypt on Sat

Egypt’s Meteorological Authority expects a continued temporary increase in temperatures across most parts of the country on Saturday.

The weather will be mild in the early morning, turning hot during the daytime in most regions and very hot in southern Upper Egypt. Conditions will become moderate again at night.

Light morning fog is expected between 4:00 am and 8:00 am on some roads leading to and from northern areas, extending to Greater Cairo, Canal cities, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.

There is a chance of moderate rainfall, which may occasionally be accompanied by thunder, in areas such as Sallum, Matrouh, and Siwa. 

Light rain may extend at times to El Alamein and Alexandria.

Winds are expected to be active, with speeds ranging from 30 to 35 km per hour, affecting parts of the northwestern coasts, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, the Western Desert, and northern Upper Egypt. These winds may carry sand and dust, reducing visibility in some areas.

There is also a slight chance of low clouds forming in parts of the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and Canal cities, which could bring light drizzle that is not expected to have a significant impact.

Expected temperatures: Cairo: High 32°C, Low 16°C, Alexandria: High 31°C, Low 17°C, Matrouh: High 25°C, Low 17°C, Sohag: High 37°C, Low 20°C, Qena: High 38°C, Low 21°C, and Aswan: High 38°C, Low 21°C.
