Parler is a social network where many supporters of President Donald Trump have migrated after being banned from services such as Twitter Inc.
Meanwhile, the right-leaning social media users in the United States have flocked to Parler, messaging app Telegram and hands-off social site Gab, citing the more aggressive policing of political comments on mainstream platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. Where Twitter permanently suspended President Trump's account on Friday.
In a letter from Apple’s App Store review team to Parler seen by Reuters, Apple cited instances of the service’s being used to make plans to descend on Washington, D.C., with weapons after a mob stormed the U.S. Capitol building on Wednesday.
On other hand, Google removed ''Parler app'' from its Play Store. The firm's spokesman explained that they’re aware of continued posting in the Parler app that seeks to incite ongoing violence in the U.S.
However, Google reported that the Parler app will not be removed from the users phones who already downloaded it. As well as, the suspension also doesn’t limit the app’s availability on other Android app stores.
