Apple announced on Friday that most employees won't return to offices before June 2021, according to Bloomberg report.

Meanwhile, Tim CooK the Apple CEO, has vocal about his desire for Apple staff to return to the office. However, he did acknowledge the progress the company and its employees have made when it comes to working remotely in his speech.

CooK added; ''there’s no replacement for face-to-face collaboration, but we have also learned a great deal about how we can get our work done outside of the office without sacrificing productivity or results. All of these learnings are important.''

When we’re on the other side of this pandemic, we will preserve everything that is great about Apple while incorporating the best of our transformations this year, as CooK noted.

On other hand, Covid-19 has created new obstacles for the firm, in particular, because the tech giant's supply chain is spread across the world, with much of its manufacturing taking place in China, according to Dan Riccio the svp of hardware engineering.

In contrast, other tech companies such as Twitter which have announced that they will allow their employees to work from home indefinitely. Also, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella isn't a big fan of remote working due to the fact that online meetings using video conferencing software just aren't as engaging as in-person meetings.
