AOU Opens New Faculties, Offers New Degrees This Year

The Arab Open University announced that it launched an English Translation Bachelor program which offers twp certificates; one from the university and the other one from the Open University of UK.

President of the Arab Open University Abdel Hay Ebeid told SEE that AOU is on its way to issue an English education diploma at the Faculty of Language Studies from which English teachers could benefit to teach at international schools, adding that the diploma would also offer a British certificate.

"AOU is keen on opening a Faculties of media and mass communication and graphic design and accrediting them from a Canadian university," Ebeid said.

Regarding the graduate studies, the university will add a master degree in English this year and another master in business administration. Both of them will offer British and Egyptian certificates.

It is worth mentioning that AOU would receive its students at four faculties; Faculty of Computing Sciences, Faculty of Business Studies, Faculty of Language Studies, and Faculty of Education Studies.
