CAIRO, Jan. 2 (SEE)- US President Donald Trump announced his willingness to meet with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un- a 2019 meeting that political watchers are expected to keep an eye on closely!
Trump, of course, opted for his twitter account to announce such news noting that Kim is fully aware of the great economic potential North Korea possesses.

Reuters reported that Mr. Trump said that he has never urged fast denuclearization of North Korea’s Capital Pyongyang and that the US President received a message from his North Korean counterpart related to Pyongyang’s nuclear program, without any further information on the “letter-like” communication.
In his new year eve’s speech, Kim expressed his readiness to sit on the table with Trump so as to discuss their common goal of denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula besides other negotiations that would be welcomed by the global community. As per Reuters, the N. Korean Leader affirmed that such outcomes can come to light if Washington shows “Trustworthy measures and corresponding practical actions.”
Despite his proposed reform efforts, Kim also glanced that North Korea would be “Compelled to explore a new path,” to safeguard itself if sanctions and pressures against Pyongyang stay unresolved- no one knows what this new path holds!
Pyongyang has been subjected to intense global sanctions including bans on trade and banking transactions, backed by Washington in order to force the North Korean regime to give up its nuclear program.
