Amazon Prime released Wednesday the final trailer for Cannes Film Festival Award Winner for Best Director Leos Carax’s romantic musical movie “Annette”.
The movie focuses on the two main characters, Henry McHenry (played by Adam Driver), a famous stand-up comedian, and Ann Defrasnoux (Marion Cotillard), a renowned opera singer, as their love story unfolds under the glare of the spotlights and the pressure of being high-profile celebrities.

“Annette” is Carax’s first in the English language. It received its world premiere at the opening of the Cannes Film Festival on July 6.
The movie features an original soundtrack composed by Ron and Russell Mael, members of iconic American pop-rock band Sparks, who also penned the script and plays themselves in the project.
It is produced by Charles Gillibert with Paul-Dominique Vacharasinthu and Driver.
"Annette" is set to hit theatres on August 6 before debuting on Amazon Prime Video on August 20.
