Angham Makes Her First Public Appearance after Surgery

Superstar, Angham arrived Sunday to Saudi Arabia, ahead of her upcoming concert, after her health was stabilized following her Kidney stone removal surgery.

It is scheduled for the superstar to perform Monday evening a concert titled "some of Turki's memories" at Diriyah Arena, as a part of the month-long Diriyah Season activities.

The evening will also feature the performance of Moroccan singer Asma Lamnawar, Syrian singer Assala Nasri, Tunisian singer Oumaima Taleb, and Saudi Arabian singer Dalia Mubarak.

The singers are set to perform songs written by poet Turki, in which he collaborated with a large number of performers in the Gulf and Arab countries in the past years.

Ziad Sakr, a member at Angham's music group posted a new photo of himself with the singer with musician Walid Fayed.

Angham suffered days ago a sudden health crisis and was hospitalized, and underwent, later on, a Kidney stone removal surgery as well as a temporary ureteral stent placement.

This is Angham's latest public appearance, after undergoing surgery.

She is currently working on her new album.

Angham has recorded five songs from her new album, which is scheduled to be released early 2020.

In this album, she cooperates with a large number of poets and composers, including her husband music distributor, Ahmed Ibrahim.

Angham released her latest album, “Hala Khasa Gedan”, this year, which consists of 14 songs.

The famed singer, born on January 19, 1972, is an Egyptian singer, record producer, and actress.

She sang as a child, heralding the birth of a new musical generation.

The superstar made her debut in 1987 under the guidance of her father، prominent Egyptian musician Mohamed Aly Suleiman.

She performed in public during Cairo’s Radio syndicate ceremony for the first time, as they were looking for new voices to artistically adopt them.

The star has released several albums the first of which was released in 1987. Her hit song called “La Lei Lei La Lei” has brought her much fame.

Angham’s fame in the entertainment industry has led her to experiment with other forms of media, such as film-making.

The 47-year-old had made her acting debut in 2013 TV series “Fe Ghamdet Ein” co-starring actress Dalia El Behery.

She is considered to be one of the most successful vocal female singers in Egypt and in the Middle East.
