Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie visited Al-Mehwar Hospital in 6th of October City this Saturday morning, as part of her official visit to Egypt.
Her visit aimed to follow humanitarian support efforts, show solidarity with the Palestinian people, and check on the condition of several injured Palestinians receiving medical treatment in Egypt.
The global star, who serves as a Special Envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), was in Cairo today following her tour of Al-Arish and the Rafah crossing yesterday to inspect the humanitarian aid being provided to Palestinians.
Moreover, Jolie praised the medical care and the medical staff dedicated to providing assistance to the injured.
During her tour of the hospital, which receives many injured Palestinians, Jolie emphasized the importance of international and local cooperation in providing support to Palestinians.
