Britain's Andy Murray has been knocked out of the Rotterdam Open, following his 7-5 6-2 loss to world number eight Andrey Rublev in the second round.
Murray, now ranked 123rd, had won his first tour-level match since August by beating Robin Haase on Monday.
The Scot triumphed over a 19-year-old Rublev in their only previous meeting at the 2017 Aust ralian Open, but was deemed the underdog on Wednesday.
Russian fourth seed Rublev secured the match in one hour and 34 minutes.
The opening set was well contested, before Rublev gained a break in the 11th game following a Murray double fault.
