Influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami on Saturday as the UK seeks their extradition over new criminal charges, according to US authorities.
The US Marshals Service said both men were taken into custody but declined to disclose the charges because the arrest warrant remains under seal.
The UK's Crown Prosecution Service said the brothers face additional charges, including rape, facilitating human trafficking for sexual exploitation and offences involving indecent images of a child. Prosecutors said the extradition request follows the emergence of new evidence.
The Tate brothers, who hold dual British and US citizenship, also face tax evasion and money laundering allegations in the UK, all of which they deny.
Separately, the pair are under investigation in Romania on charges including human trafficking, trafficking of minors, sexual offences involving a minor and money laundering. They deny all allegations.
