The political developments in the United States added more uncertainty to the electoral scene, as US President Donald Trump repeated his claims about the elections that took place about two weeks ago, and doubts the victory of his rival, President-elect Joe Biden.

Days after he hinted that he might leave the White House, Trump again gave great support to the rallies of his supporters, which attended by thousands of people two days ago, and he repeated what they said that the presidential elections had been rigged.

These developments are taking place in the United States of America for the first time in its history ... and in full view of the world, two American "presidents" are now fighting for power.

The successive developments can be explained in several ways .. On the one hand, it appears as President Trump, who did not publicly acknowledge his defeat in the elections, wants to question the results of the polls and affix them to the crime of fraud and keep this as a stain on the new administration headed by Biden, just as Trump himself suffered from allegations made by Democrats about Russia's interference in the 2016 presidential election that resulted in his victory.

Trump has fought to clear himself of that charge for years to come in his rule.

As for the second scenario, it is that Trump, who suffered a resounding defeat in the elections because of mismanaging the Coronavirus crisis - will not give up or consider that defeat the end of his political career, but will compete again in the next presidential elections 2024, in which Biden will not participate, by virtue of his age about 78 years old.

In this regard, Trump wants to maintain the momentum of his popularity by frequently making those statements, questioning Biden's victory. Sources from inside the White House had earlier revealed to the "New York Times"  that Trump might announce his candidacy for the 2024 elections as soon as Biden is confirmed winning the US election.

As for the third scenario, it is that Trump does not want to discourage his supporters, who turned out in the thousands to repeat allegations of election fraud and to assure the incumbent president's victory in the ballot.

He releases, accordingly, his enthusiastic tweets to keep them as long as possible active and show his strength and popularity, in support of his judicial bids to effect any change, even slight, in the election results to avoid stigmatization with a "resounding defeat" in the elections.
