Amy Adams Celebrates Her 47th Birthday

The pretty American actress Amy Adams celebrated her birthday on Friday, Aug. 20.

Adams is one of the finest actresses that the world film industry could ever have, turned 47 today.

On her special day, both fans and celebrities took to their social media accounts and penned down a sweet message for the beautiful and gorgeous blond actress.

In 1974, she was born in Vicenza, Italy to American parents and she was a fourth of seven children.

Adams’s shot to fame with her success in  Steven Spielberg's biopic film Catch Me If You Can (2002), and many remarkable films and stunning performances followed suit. 

Her breakthrough came when she appeared in the successful comedy-drama film (Junebug), which is directed by Phil Morrison. Moreover, her performance in Enchanted (2007) won her much praise from her fans and critics alike.

Adams is also known for her seminal works, such as Doubt (2008), Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (2009), Julie & Julia (2009), The Fighter (2010), The Muppets (2011), The Master (2012), Man of Steel (2013), Her (2013), American Hustle (2013), Big Eyes (2014), Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Arrival (2016), Nocturnal Animals (2016), and Justice League (2017).

The most acclaimed actress in Hollywood made several appearances on American TV such as Sharp Objects, an HBO miniseries based on Gillian Flynn's thriller novel of the same name and the science fiction drama Arrival and the psychological thriller Nocturnal Animal, in which Adams played "emotionally guarded, fiercely intelligent" women to critical acclaim.
