TV Presenters Amr Adib, Lamees Al Hadidy Contract Coronavirus

A few minutes ago, popular TV Presenter, Amr Adib tweeted on Thursday that he and his wife, famous media person Lamees Al Hadidy, tested positive for Coronavirus.

Adib posted: " Me and Lamees contracted COVID-19, the symptoms are mild, pray for us."

Shortly, several artists and celebrities responded to the TV Presenter's tweet by wishing the couple a speedy recovery such as iconic actor Nabil El Halafawy.

It is worthy to mention that Egypt recorded 803 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country’s total up to 389,454.

The total number of COVID-19-related deaths has now reached 21,863 nationwide after the ministry announced 27 deaths.

About 912 patients were discharged from quarantine at isolation hospitals, raising the total number of fully-recovered cases to 323,913.

On November 14, the Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) announced the start of clinical trials for CoviVacc, the country’s first coronavirus vaccine.

The authority confirmed that the vaccine is a fruitful outcome of cooperation between the National Research Center and Vaccine Valley Company.
