Amman Hosts International Conference to Support Gaza's Healthcare Sector

On Thursday, Amman is hosting a two-day international conference aimed at providing relief to the healthcare sector in Gaza.

 Organized by the Jordanian Medical Association under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Hassan bin Talal, the conference brings together participants from 24 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, and several Arab and Asian nations. 

The primary objectives of the conference are to discuss the challenges faced in delivering medical aid to Gaza, explore practical solutions to enhance and sustain healthcare support, and highlight Jordan's pivotal role in coordinating relief efforts for the region. 

Sessions will focus on increasing awareness of the multiple crises affecting Gaza's healthcare system, such as infrastructure destruction and urgent needs in medical training and education. Additionally, the conference aims to launch an international health platform to connect Gaza's healthcare support projects with global donor institutions, facilitating the achievement of strategic goals and providing sustainable solutions to the health crises in the region.
