Filming of Egyptian actor Amir Karara's new TV series “Omar al-Naji” has been suspended on Monday.
The filming has been postponed many times over the last period, as the series writer and director, Peter Mimi is busy with preparations for his upcoming TV series “El Ekhteyar 2 ” (The Choice 2), which is set to premiere in Ramadan 2021 drama marathon.
Synergy, the production company behind the series, has not yet set a date for resuming production, but it is likely that the filming will take place after the end of the Ramadan drama marathon.
“Omar al-Naji”, consists of 8 action-packed episodes, will debut online on “WATCH IT” digital platform.
The series also stars Abbas Abu Al-Hassan, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and others.
